Non-medical, compassionate support for the dying and the people who love them.
A death doula offers non-medical, compassionate support to someone who is dying, and to the people around them. The support is emotional, practical, and sometimes spiritual, centered entirely on what matters most to the dying person. A doula does not replace hospice or medical care. She walks alongside it.
Spiritual and practical companion support around the end-of-life transition itself, drawing on my own transition work. For the person approaching death, or for family in the hours and days just after.
Caring for a dying loved one is exhausting in ways that are hard to name. These sessions are for the caregiver, not the patient, a space to be supported while you are the one holding everything together.
A conversation focused on what someone wants their final days to look like: who they want present, what they want said, what peace looks like to them. This is also where I help you think through your Five Wishes document, the questions it asks, and what your honest answers are, before you complete your own copy through your hospice or Aging with Dignity.
Every accepted request includes up to three weeks of support for the family after their loved one has passed. This is not billed separately. It is folded into the price agreed during your consultation.
What this is not: This is not medical treatment, therapy, or a replacement for hospice care. I am not a substitute for a doctor, nurse, or licensed counselor. If a medical or clinical need comes up, that always goes to the right professional first.
Each of these starts as a request, not an automatic booking. Share a little about your situation, and we will talk through what kind of support fits.
There is no charge for submitting a request. It is reviewed personally before anything is scheduled.
